Back in 1997 I was making furniture, printing old Swedish wallpapers etc. in a scale of 1:12. I have been running Skala Minimal ever since. One thing I have missed during these years is making things myself.

SkalaSkapar has taken over SkalaMinimal's operations in 2025.

This store features handmade miniatures and furniture, miniature crafts and materials for your construction such as wood materials, handles, fittings, hinges, wallpaper, floors etc. There will also be some miniatures and building kits here. We are going back to what we started with 28 years ago when we started SkalaMinimal, self-made furniture and miniatures and materials.

Skala Skapar is run by Agneta Lokrantz Ekeberg, model builder and work instructor. Her CV includes studies in ethnology, archaeology, economics, pedagogy, occupational therapy, weaving, sewing, chipping, lace making, fine needlework, furniture renovation, fabric printing, flax growing, etc. I had a bit of a hard time deciding but everything comes in handy when working with miniatures.
